I went through my own personal mindset reset in November 2018. I was a point in life where I was going down a dark tunnel of bad habits and bad thoughts. My health had relapsed into a state of obesity which I found extremely difficult to get a grip with. I was on a path to shortening my life early through my own silly actions.

I have a young family and I was the unhealthiest I’d been in nearly 12 years. I had a lot of bad habits and had become a lazy slob with a chip on my shoulder. It was super sad the state I had become. All it took was my wife to say some words of truth and realise how selfish I was being to understand I needed to change that.

All that was required was a mindset reset. This was a simple but effective process of cleansing my mind of negativity. Replacing bad habits with good habits all in an effort to recapture my self confidence and make positive life decisions. Once trained into these new habits this new mindset would be the new way forward. Alas I am now in this new state of mind having come out the back end of a mindset reset with a new found energy and overwhelming desire to succeed further in life.

Take it out and put it in the bin! You don’t need any of that negativity in your life. You need good habits, good people and good health.

  • If you consume a lot of television, cut it out all together or dramatically reduce your consumption. Especially trash gossip and news programs. Nobody needs that shit in their lives.
  • Social Media detox. Twitter and Facebook, these things are just pure negativity traps. You have a couple of choices here. Stop using them all together or choose to use it just once a day and make sure to unsubscribe to any negative people and don’t engage in negative speak online. It’s just not worth the brain power.
  • Hows your health going? How much exercise do you do? Well if you’re not doing much at all. I would suggest that you take up some form of daily exercise for a minimum of thirty minutes a day. Whether thats simply a walk around the block each day, that is a million times better than nothing. Something is always better than nothing.
  • You got shitty people in your life. Either choose to remove them from your life or confront them directly about how they make you feel. There is no inbetween.
